We have been pasturing and milking cows for over 20 years.<\/h3>\n

\"\"\u00a0We have a small heard of Jerseys and cross-Jerseys.<\/p>\n

No growth hormones are ever used on our animals.<\/p>\n

We decided to become organic certified since our yogurt would be in a marketplace beyond our current farm customers. We never use any chemicals, herbicides or pesticides on our fields.<\/p>\n

Our fields, grasses, plants, and animals are certified organic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  • Always have access to the outside and live in a 3-sided barn
    \nin the winter.<\/li>\n
  • We believe that cows are healthiest when they live outdoors.<\/li>\n
  • Are only tied up during milking for a short time once a day
    \nin the morning.<\/li>\n
  • Live with other happy, healthy cows.<\/li>\n
  • Rarely have the need for veterinarian visits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Callie\u2019s Calves<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      \n
    • Roam with their mothers and the herd during the day-time.<\/li>\n
    • Nurse as desired, and are weened when mother and calf
      \nare ready.<\/li>\n
    • Sleep together at night in the calf pen under the watchful
      \neyes of their mothers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
